Extensions in BlogTheque?

I have been working on my new "Association Directory" project for the last few weeks, and for which I used BlogTheque as a support.

This allowed me to realize that BlogTheque's modular programming actually allowed for additions, such as plugins, which was not originally planned.

These extensions will nevertheless be limited to additions that webmasters will make for their own use and on their own self-hosted platforms (no question of opening the system as is the case with WordPress to tens of thousands of uncontrollable plugins...).

It is now possible to add a plugin:

  • by adding it as a Blogtheque component in the had hoc table (name, execution directory, database name).
  • by adding the entries that must appear in the Dashboard menu (had hoc table).
  • by then defining (it is automatic) the access rights of the different hosted sites to the components as well as to the users.
  • and of course programming the scripts to do what you need.
